Quite a bit has happened in recent months. I graduated with all the bling bling (outstanding senior award, high honors cord, university scholar award), I've applied for a ton of jobs with little to no response, and I have moved back to the Boston area after ten years to the month in Montana. I just arrived on Saturday and am living the life, or at least trying to.

Fillion and Firefly

I'm so freaking excited I'm actually making two journal posts within a week. Hell has clearly frozen over!
But in all seriousness, have you heard about the Help Nathan Fillion Buy Firefly movement? Basically, he said if he ever won the lottery he would buy the rights to Firefly and make it himself. Fans have now launched a website and a Facebook page in the hopes of maybe getting fans to pledge and eventually donate money and maybe accomplish this lofty goal. Since Firefly is one of the best things that ever happened to tv and it's tragically short run still depresses me more than anything, I say hell yeah! :w00t:
